Poems

I’ve never sat down to specifically write a poem. As such, I don’t consider myself to be a poet of any means. These and others just tend to appear in my mind, so I jot them down. Pretty easy, huh? Here are a few that seem to be fan favorites. From time to time I will switch these out with others. Hope you enjoy them – Ron.

Rain Warm summer clouds, Surprise us this day

Ice Blue – I can only remember her face, For a few moments after I wake

Crystal Rum – Smoldering cigar stubs whisper, Crystal rum stained glasses …

Indiana Sky – Under a shining Indiana sky, I was there and saw her pass by …

Whispers – Please, he says, don’t leave, just stay, a moment more, words whispered silently, for himself.

Mondays’ – I take the dirt drive, Off an old country road …

She and I – She was to be a Doctor, And I a busy Architect …

The Corner – The rosin touched the strings, As he opened the leather case …

In The Night – Like a stranger in a distant land, Rhythms beat all through my head …

Last Song – On the wings of a princess, I stole through the night …
